5.0 RECOGNIZE THE DEVICES
 
In line with the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Concept, employees are allowed to record attendance not only from FingerTec terminals but also from their own mobile devices or using web clock-in. This chapter will guide you in adding FingerTec terminals and identifying all clock-in methods into TimeTec TA for a complete management of employees and their attendance data.
5.1 WEB CLOCK-IN
 
Web Clock-In allows users to report their attendance or view their attendance with their PC by accessing TimeTec via the web browser. The Web Clock-In requires no additional clocking hardware or tool to report your attendance.
 
To assign users that have the rights to use Web Clock-In, go to Devices Tab > Assign Users to Device.
Note: An email will be sent to the users to notify them of their assignment to use Web Clock-In. Users will need to activate their account before they can proceed to use Web Clock-In function.
