| You can program your software to display two kinds of short messages: | |

Public Short Messages – This short message is displayed all the time for all users (eg: Company will allow staff to leave early tomorrow) |

Private Short Messages – this short message is intended for only a specific person(s), and will appear when this person verifies at the terminal. |
